 
Felicia Carter-Aaron has been immersed in film since the age of 16. Currently she is in post-production on her most recent short film, HONEY. This short is the daring look at a Chinese drag queen, Honey, who risks everything to help a boy on the streets and in trying to help him becomes entangled in the dark secrets and gang wars of Chinatown.
Her first documentary film, Kickin' it on the Curb was made in 2002. The documentary on homeless youth won her accolades including entrance into the Los Angeles Film Festival, honorable mention at the Orinda Film Festival, and the jury prize for best non-fiction short at the South Bay Student Festival.
After an internship with Sony Pictures working in post-production sound and scoring, she worked on the film, The Heist in 2005 as a producer and original score composer.
Last summer, she was part of the American Pavilion Student Filmmaker Program as an intern at the Cannes International Film Festival, and served as assistant producer for VisionFest '06, an award show honoring Werner Herzog. Most recently, she has interned for the Mark Gordon Company, the producer of ABC's popular television series Grey's Anatomy and Academy Award winning film Saving Private Ryan.
Carter-Aaron is a senior film production and editing student at California State University, Northridge and is graduating in fall of 2007.
